Wedding Photo Books

From the haldi to the reception: a printed album you can hold, for the day you will want to remember.

A Book Made From Your Own Wedding Photos

A wedding generates thousands of photos, and most of them stay on a hard drive. A printed photo book brings the best ones together in an album you can open with your family, in the order that the day happened.

It is also the version that lasts. Phones get replaced and drives fail, but a book on a shelf is always there to pick up on an anniversary.

Pick the Size

For a wedding, most couples choose A4 portrait, or 12x12 inch square if they want a bigger, more premium book. Both have room for large full-page photos and collages of the smaller moments.

A5 portrait is a smaller, more affordable option. 4x6 inch mini books make good return gifts, and are easy to give to many guests at once. Our photo book sizes guide compares every size side by side.

Hardcover With Matte Pages

A hardcover gives a rigid, protective cover that stands up on a shelf. Matte pages reduce glare and fingerprints, which matters for an album that will be passed around at every family gathering.

Glossy pages give brighter colour if your photos are very vivid, for example lots of festive colour and jewellery. You choose one page finish for the whole book.

Plan the Book by Event

Weddings are easier to design when you divide them into chapters: the engagement, the mehendi, the haldi, the sangeet, the ceremony, the reception. Start each chapter with a large full-page photo, then follow with collages of the smaller moments.

Keep the order the same as the day. Family members flipping through will follow the story without any explanation.

Choose the Photos That Tell the Story

You do not need every photo. Pick the ones that show the people and the feeling: the first look, the rituals, the family portraits, the dancing, the small candid moments between the big ones.

For every posed group photo, try to include one relaxed photo of the same people. The mix is what makes an album feel alive rather than formal.

Ask Your Photographer for the Full-Size Files

Print quality depends on the size of the original photo. Ask your photographer for the full-resolution files, not the small web copies sent for social media, and upload those. Photos sent through chat apps are compressed and print with less detail.

Our resolution guide explains how many pixels each page size needs.

Add Names and Dates

A short caption goes a long way in a wedding album: the names of relatives in a group photo, the name of a ritual, or the date and place. Guests decades from now will be glad of it. Keep captions short, and check every spelling before you order.

Extra Copies for Family

It is easy to order more than one copy of a book, so parents and grandparents can each have their own. Order a smaller size such as A5 for family copies if you want to keep the cost down.

Got questions?

A4 portrait or 12x12 inch square. Both have room for large photos and collages.

Most couples choose matte pages, because they reduce glare and fingerprints on an album that is handled often.

Yes. You can order more than one copy of the same book.

Ask for the full-resolution originals. Small web copies can look soft on a large page.
